Dom Pedro Jetty
Dom Pedro Jetty constructed in 1905 and reconstructed in 2009.
Ivo Huisman utilised original cast iron piled foundations in reconstruction project with a major saving to client. Foundation load test executed and existing pile deflection observed for re-use in design of the new reinforced concrete jetty superstructure. The project was completed in 2009 and the structure/foundations have performed well since.
